In order
to maintain the rights and privileges of being a Certified Financial
Planner I must complete the required continuing education requirement
which included general and technical
credits.
In addition the Financial Services Commission requires continuing education
credits be acquired in order to maintain a life insurance license.
That being
said it is not terribly difficult to obtain these credits since the
field is in a constant state of change and I must attend courses and
seminars in order to keep up to date on recent developments and maintain
a higher level of knowledge on specific subject matter.
This past year
I had attended the following seminars/conferences:
Independent Financial Brokers 2006 Spring Summit
Vision Works Financial Planning Training
I also keep up
